Did you know that over 30 million cups of coffee are sold annually at NS train stations? More and more of these coffees are served in reusable coffee cups, but it is still a fraction of the total. There are many coffee cups for sale, but which coffee cup to go is also sustainable and almost plastic-free? Zero Waste figured it out and did a test under a number of brands in sustainable coffee cups: Circular&Co - Circular coffee cup, Ecoffee Cup - Coffee mug made of bamboo, Weducer Cup - Coffee cup made from coffee grounds and the Retulp - Thermos cup made from recycled steel. For this review its reviewed eight different drinking bottles. The drinking bottles vary in the material they are made of, their contents and, for example, the type of cap. Also, for each drinking bottle a drop test carried out. After all, the chances of a water bottle falling once along the way are quite high. Dozens of types of travel mugs are sold on bol.com, and we mainly looked at drinking bottles that fit under a coffee maker and have many reviews. These bottles and cups stood out out:  

• Stojo Cup 470 ml: very conveniently foldable, unfortunately a bit of a plastic taste.
• Kambukka Thermos Cup 300 ml: nice cup, retains heat well.
• Circular&Co. rCUP 340ml: made of beautiful recycled material, quality not top.
• Mepal insulated cup 375 ml: almost only positive reviews, just not dishwasher proof.
• Retulp Travel mug 275 ml: coffee machine and dishwasher proof, keeps hot for only 1 hour.
• FLASKE Tumbler 500 ml: reviews of these thermos cups vary widely.
