Donations & Sustainability

We support Made Blue, the Red Cross, Simavi and the World Wildlife Fund, among others. We are also building so-called "trasher barriers" on Bali: barriers that prevent waste from flowing into the sea. This is how we help at the source. Retulp is not only about less plastic. We also want to make clean drinking water available to everyone. That's why for every product sold, we donate 1,000 times its content to water projects in developing countries. Between 2015 and 2024, we:

  • 213 Million Disposable Packaging Avoided
  • 144 Million liters of clean drinking water donated
  • More than half of our profits given to charity

Why does Retulp exist?

Disposable plastic is a big problem. It causes pollution, animal suffering and plastic soup in the oceans. Retulp wants to change that. We make products you can reuse every day: sustainable drinking bottles, thermos cups, lunch boxes and handy cooler bags. Our mission? As little disposable as possible. And as much recycling as possible. No waste, no hassle. Just a nice bottle or cup that lasts a long time. That's what we call Mission Indisposable.

What does Retulp do?

Retulp was founded in 2015 as a Social Enterprise in Apeldoorn. Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of people use our bottles, cups and lunch bags. Not only in the Netherlands, but also in Belgium and Germany. Our products come in different materials, such as stainless steel or recycled plastic. Some are even made from old refrigerators. This way we give waste a second life, and prevent new waste. In addition to consumers, many companies also use our products. As sustainable business gifts, as coffee cups in the office or as an alternative to plastic Christmas hampers. Big names like KLM, Uber and Universities of Applied Sciences have already switched to Retulp.
