Yes, both the stainless steel drinking bottles and the biobased water bottles are completely leak-proof. The stainless steel bottles have a sturdy bamboo cap with silicone seal, while the water bottles have a tight-fitting sports cap or twist cap. So you can carry them in your bag or bike mount without worry.

Are the Retulp bottles dishwasher safe?

The biobased water bottles are dishwasher safe, but the stainless steel bottles and bamboo caps stay at their best when cleaned by hand. Use warm water and mild soap to extend their life.

What can I use my Retulp bottle or water bottle for?

The single-walled stainless steel drinking bottles and water bottles are designed for cold drinks such as water, juice or sports drinks. What is the difference between a single-walled and a double-walled (thermos) bottle?

However, this bottle does not insulate; cold water becomes lukewarm over time and hot water becomes cold (and the outside becomes hot). Can I order separate caps or parts?

Yes, this is an essential part of our sustainable mission. It would be a shame to throw away an entire bottle if only the cap is lost or the ring worn out. We offer loose caps for most models. This way you extend the life of your bottle and avoid unnecessary waste.

Do ice cubes or pieces of fruit fit in the opening?

Most Retulp bottles are designed with an opening wide enough for standard ice cubes or wedges of lime and mint. This makes them perfect for making your water extra refreshing in the summer. Plus, a slightly wider opening makes cleaning with a dishwashing brush a lot easier.

Do I taste a metallic taste when I drink from a stainless steel bottle?

No, absolutely not. We only use high-quality "food grade" stainless steel. This material is not only very strong, but also completely inert. That means it does not give off any odor or taste to your water, juice or coffee. So you taste your drink pure, just as it should be, without that weird metallic aftertaste you sometimes get with aluminum bottles.

At Retulp you can choose from two types: the stainless steel water bottle and the biobased water bottle. The stainless steel bottle is made of stainless steel with a cap made of bamboo. Sturdy, taste neutral and suitable for daily use.

The bio water bottle is made of biobased plastic made from sugarcane. Light weight, unbreakable and ideal for cycling, sports or children.

The 500 ml bottle fits in almost any bag and is the most chosen size for work, school or a short ride. The 750 ml bottle is handy on long days, during sports or in hot weather.
